Priscilla Tan, previously social media marketing lead at SingTel, has taken up a role at Spotify as head of social media, APAC.
According to a blog post,Tan said that her role will focus on building social marketing capabilities in Asia and shaping how the music streaming service engages consumers on social media. Spotify has confirmed the appointment. Tan will report directly to Joshua Karpf, global director, social marketing at Spotify.
“We are thrilled to have Priscilla Tan join the Spotify team as head of social marketing in APAC and look forward to her contributions to strengthening our social media and online influencer outreach in the region,” said Karpf.
Tan officially began in her role this month.
Tan previously worked on campaigns for SingTel such as #Need4GSpeed real-time social marketing campaign and its Gordon Ramsay VS #Hawkerheroes brand campaign.
Spotify has been ramping up operations here since last year, appointing Lewis PR in March last year.
