SPH goes pink and here's why

Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) has introduced salmon-colored paper to entice advertisers. This will be first seen in My Paper in a special feature about wellness.It is the first time SPH has we showcased coloured newsprint within its newspapers.The salmon- coloured newsprint, said SPH in a statement, differentiates the feature enabling it to “command a striking presence within the regular news content.”Elsie Chua, executive vice president, and head of integrated sales, marketing division, SPH, said: “We have showcased the use of coloured paper in the My Paper Wellness feature and advertisers can work with us for more creative options in using this to deliver a greater impact for their advertising campaigns.”The 16-page advertising feature showcases the latest beauty and wellness products and services and is targeted at executives reading My Paper.There would be more special features packaged with coloured newsprint and additional premiums for this impactful buy is between 15% and 30%, Chua added."This is a great opportunity for advertisers launching new products and services, grand openings or simply doing a campaign to stand out from everyone else."
