Strategies can be one-off single campaigns or stunts or longer-term strategies and can be across all platforms including broadcast media, print and extend to digital, online and mobile platforms. Judges will be looking for a sound understanding and context of the target audience and clear strategic objectives based on research which lead to driving commercial value for clients.

This award recognises the growing role of research for the media industry generally. Work must have been commissioned or produced by a media owner for a client/s and/or publisher/s. Judges will be looking at the project’s methodology, results against set objectives and overall business impact.
This award is for a new product or service by a media owner that has launched within the eligibility period. Examples include a new website, app, print title, TV channel, OOH solution etc. Judges will be looking for indicators of success such as excellent content, creativity, engagement with its target market, commercial viability and an impact on the media owner’s overall business.

Campaigns/solutions can include the use of online and/or mobile platforms.
This award recognises the most creative, innovative and/or effective experiential campaigns/ solutions by a media owner for its client/s and/or brand/s which engaged the client/s’ and/or brands/s’ audience and drove commercial value for them. Judges will be looking for immersive and interactive solutions that focus on the entire customer experience and allow the customer to directly engage with a product/service and the client. Platforms/solutions using experiential marketing techniques can include digital, online, events and more and may include multi-sensory solutions.
This award recognises the most creative, innovative and/or effective cross-media campaign from a media owner for its client/s and/or the brand/s to engage their audience and drive commercial value for them. At least three different mediums must have been used.

Submissions are open to all media platforms from print, to online, mobile and can include everything from ad-funded TV deals, branded music projects to ‘native’ advertising campaigns such as sponsored stories and featured videos.
This category is open to any media owner that has significantly improved one of its products or services during the eligibility period. Judges will look for proof of the offering’s development and evidence of innovation, creativity and commercial success during the judging year.
This award recognises the most innovative advertising technology from media owners. Examples of how this technology enabled increased audience engagement and success for its clients must be supported.
