S&P Industries dishes out free nasi lemak ahead of Merdeka Day

S&P Industries, coconut cream powder manufacturer, is handing out free nasi lemak in conjunction with the upcoming Merdeka Day. The campaign launched on 21 August and will run until tomorrow.

In a statement to A+M, assistant manager, digital marketing Liew Mei Ling said the CSR campaign is also to promote its S&P Santan Coconut Cream Powder, which is used in the free nasi lemak it is distributing. Liew added that the company has been sharing the initiative with consumers through its social media platforms.

Meanwhile, S&P is also concurrently running a social media campaign that encourages consumers to share something nice about Malaysia on their social media pages with the hashtag #SantanFreeNasiLemak.

It hopes to raise awareness of national pride while doing good by giving back to the society. S&P will donate RM1 for every post per user to a charity organisation.

“We, as proud Malaysians who love the country, want to do something good for the country and its citizens by sharing happiness through free nasi lemak. We also want to share this spirit with our fellow Malaysians by doing good for those in need,” Liew said.
