Social-medical app Halza has appointed BBDO as its global agency partner to help consolidate branding and marketing efforts, and design a unified, creative strategy for brand communication.The multi-year appointment is for the development of global marketing of both the Halza app and its Instagram account, Dr Hen Says, which provides health facts in a fun and humorous manner. The upcoming campaigns will address many key health issues including the rise of chronic and metabolic diseases such as fatty liver, diabetes, cancer, stroke, and heart disease. The Halza app is user-centric and aims to give people control over all information pertaining to their own bodies, readily available at their fingertips.Marketing has reached out to Halza for additional details about the pitch.Halza recognised that digital healthcare is becoming a necessity as Singaporeans are driven to organise their lives on mobile devices. It also observed increased interest in managing and understanding more about health, especially in light of increasing healthcare costs in Singapore, according to the company. According to Richard Nijkerk, founder and chairman, Halza was created with a vision of building a unique, consumer-centric, global healthcare brand, providing health information, easily understood by users, and backed up by a social-media savvy marketing strategy.“Halza has built an in-house art and animation studio, an experienced IT team, and an internationally-focused executive team.
