We Are Social bolsters creative and client services teams

Global social media agency We Are Social has bolstered the creative and client services teams in Asia with the appointments of Christie Way (pictured) as art director and Emah Zaini as account director.Way joins We Are Social’s creative team from BBDO, where she served as art director and handled an array of local and regional accounts. This includes the likes of Fonterra, Diageo, P&G, Visa, FedEx, DHL, Mercedes Benz, Tourism Australia and Exxon.She joins a rapidly growing creative team that has added a number of key hires in the past year, including Su Lin Tan, formerly of DDB, and Avril Chua, formerly of the Fire Station Agency in Los Angeles, as art directors, reporting to creative director Sharim Gubbels.Zaini joins from Marina Bay Sands, where she served as advertising and brand manager. As account director, Zaini will assist in leading We Are Social’s client groups and teams, with specific focus on managing the organisation’s APAC relationship with Intel and Lenovo, among others.Having started her career at Young & Rubicam, Zaini honed her account management skills at Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) overseeing FMCG accounts such as Unilever Axe and Unilever Vaseline.Don Anderson, managing director, Singapore, We Are Social, said: “We’re very excited by the addition of Way and Zaini to our growing team of social communications and creative specialists.
