The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has appointed boutique creative agency HMC Group to design and fit out the 2017 F1 Temasek Suite, following a tender called on April 2017. HMC Group partnered with boutique innovation and brand experience company Insert Coin to form a consortium for the pitch.
The other agencies that pitched were Abramtle International, Freeman, Kingsmen Exhibits and Pico Art International. In 2016, it was also appointed to fit out Temasek Suite under its parent firm H.A.M Creations.
In a statement to Marketing, STB’s spokesperson said HMC Group was chosen because its proposal stood out in several areas including design and concept, content curation and team capabilities.
HMC Group, which stands for Holistic, Motivational and Captivating, has serviced clients such as Bacardi Martini Singapore and The Bedok Marketplace. Its parent company, H.A.M Creations, specialises in communications design, event management and production. Established in 2000, H.A.M Creations initially started out as an events company before expanding into other areas such as fabrication, tie-ups with cosmetic companies and operating large format printers.
Its current range of services include organising product launches, road shows and promotional activities, as well as conference and sporting events. Among H.A.M Creations’ list of clients include Hermes, Shiseido, Miu Miu, Sephora, OCBC, Treasury Wine Estates and National University of Singapore.
