Singapore FHM ceases publication

Singapore FHM is set to cease publication from this September.According to a statement from MediaCorp, following the closure of the magazine, the company will “focus its resources on new men’s segment projects” that are more relevant to consumers in the “ever changing landscape.”“Closing a title is never easy, but the media world is constantly evolving and the media-consumption habit of men have changed over the years. We thank our Singapore FHM readers for their support in the last 10 years,” Jessie Sng, head of Men, Women & Parents Customer Group, MediaCorp said.Key advertisers for the magazine included the likes of Nike, adidas, Playhouse Club, Prestige Products, CapitaMalls and Crystal Time to name a few.The closure comes weeks after SPH Magazines confirmed that Cosmopolitan Singapore was exiting the market.
