Simon Lockyer joins FCB Singapore as CEO

Simon Lockyer has been appointed as CEO of FCB Singapore.Marketing understands that Lockyer (pictured) was appointed to relaunch the agency in Singapore and while the agency never officially shut its offices in Singapore, it was servicing majority of its clients from the Malaysia office. Moreover, in 2013, the agency shut its office in Hong Kong office due to “escalating challenges”. Marketing has reached out to FCB for more information on its push in the Singapore market.Lockyer was previously country lead Droga5 and was appointed to help kick start the agency’s business with Tiger Beer in Singapore. According to Lockyer’s LinkedIn profile, he was hired to lead the agency’s business development efforts.He was also working on a freelance basis with TBWA\​Digital Arts Network in Singapore where he worked on clients such as MasterCard. At Tribal Worldwide Singapore, he was working contractually to help define and inculcate best practice regional operating model for MNC accounts including Fonterra and Volkswagen.
