SGX picks iris as new creative agency, launches new campaign

Singapore Exchange (SGX) has appointed iris Singapore as the creative AOR, following a pitch first called in April 2019. The appointment is effective immediately.

Iris has developed creative executions that bring to life SGX’s diverse offerings. The series will be deployed over the course of the year to showcase concepts of growth for institutional investors who are seeking investment and risk-management opportunities in Asia. The assets will be distributed via broadcast, print, digital and social.

A quick check by Marketing saw that campaign has already been launched on YouTube and SGX’s microsite. The campaign outlines the company’s offerings and advancements over the years. The multi-asset exchange firm also positioned itself as a company that helps other businesses grow. Watch the TVC here:

Sorcha John, MD of Iris Singapore said: “SGX is an incredible global institution with a rich history of sector innovation. The SGX team have a compelling vision for growth and we’re very proud to be working with a partner so clear in their commitment to excellence.”

Superunion was behind the development of the campaign strategy “Fluent in Growth”, to highlight that SGX is able to identify and adapt to the various growth needs of its stakeholders. Ambrish Chaudhry, managing strategy director, Superunion said: “It has been a pleasure to work on the SGX brand with its deep significance to the economy and people of Singapore and beyond. Fluent in Growth is a strong statement of how SGX is adapting to a fast-changing business environment, striving for the right mix of oversight and flexibility to support a conducive business environment. It is a sentiment based off the strengths of SGX, as we heard from its varied stakeholders.”

Marketing understands that OMD handled the media duties for the campaign and was recently appointed through a closed-door pitch. Previously, SGX has also worked with Ogilvy for creative executions. Marketing has reached out for additional information.
