SapientNitro Singapore hires new business development director

SapientNitro Singapore has appointed Sebastian Troen as director of business development at SapientNitro Singapore.

He was last holding the role of digital strategist of the ASEAN region at technology solutions providers Avanade for over a year. He was tasked to build a digital practice of Avanade across Singapore and Malaysia with a focus on digital marketing solutions. He also led digital strategy implementation and drove presales opportunities working closely with Business Development team. His clients included the likes of Ascendas, International SOS and The Star Online.

Troen (pictured) was also international group director of Reading Room for over a year. He was in charge of leading the digital strategy and solutioning for digital marketing projects. He led business development for enterprise web development projects, including proposal writing, presentations and contract negotiations. With his help, the agency bagged clients such as Singapore Sports Council, Minor Hotel Group, Bank of China Aviation, Singapore Stock Exchange, Noise Singapore and National Parks of Singapore.
