Samsung Mobile Singapore deploys influencers to push LINE collaboration

Samsung Mobile Singapore has employed a group of influencers from Nuffnang and Churp Churp to push its LINE Friends collaboration. The pop up store in Westgate was first launched in February and will stay open until 2 April 2017.

According to Samsung, the collaboration aims to provide customers with the opportunity to explore engaging ways to customise their devices. The pop up store consists of experiential zones which are specially curated including a Samsung Gear virtual reality 4D theatre, fitness zone as well as a showcase of Galaxy A (2017) products.

It also features a 360 photo booth and Samsung Café with discounts for customers which pay through its mobile wallet offering Samsung Pay.

The video showcases social media influencers Charlotte Lum, Melina Irwan, Tay Ying and Khaw Xin Lin trying out the various themed zones, and predictably culminates in a series of selfie-taking with Samsung Mobile products. The video documenting the interaction has since garnered 100,000 views, 616 reactions and 70 shares at the time of writing.
