Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore has appointed Rosalind Lee (pictured) as general manager, a role reportedly previously held by Celevel Butler, who left in November last year and joined a managing partner of Edelman. Lee’s appointment commences in July 2017 and will see her reporting to Lou Dela Pena, Publicis Communications Singapore CEO.According to the agency, Lee joins at a time of real growth for the agency, following regional business wins such as Agoda, and as digital AOR for Mead Johnson. In her new role, Lee will be responsible for the day-to-day management, brand leadership and expansion of the agency’s client portfolio into a mix of international and local brands. She will also run the Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore team together with chief creative officer, Dominic Stallard . She arrives from AMV-London where she built her career on brands such as Sainsbury, British Telecom, FedEx and Virgin.“Lee’s reputation precedes her. The people who have worked with her love her. She’s a proven leader who has spent her entire career creating and selling the kind of work that’s made other agencies envious and new clients pick up the phone. That’s the kind of player we need to build on Saatchi's momentum and ambition,” Lou Dela Pena said.“As a creative you can’t ask for more than a partner who is as passionate about doing the right work for the client as you are. Lee is one of those people,” Stallard added.“It was an instant click with Dela Pena, Stallard and the Saatchi & Saatchi team.  Their energy, passion and ambition is infectious and I can’t wait to get started and do great things for their excellent and growing client-base,” Lee said. The senior level appointment follows the exit of Singapore and Malaysia CEO Shannon Cullum to join MullenLowe last year, a role he held since 2014. This followed news of Lou Dela Pena taking on the CEO role for Publicis Communications Singapore, which saw her taking charge of leading both Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi. Most recently, the agency saw the exit of regional creative directors Fajar Kurnia and Jeremy Chia, who took up new roles at Publicis Singapore as executive creative directors to replace Troy Lim and Jon Loke.
