Rice brings Brasher on board as partner

Independent communications agency Rice Communications has appointed former Lewis PR's APAC MD James Brasher as director and partner.He will work closely with Rice Communications' founder and managing partner Sonya Madeira (both pictured) to broaden the firm's client base in Singapore and regionally and oversee business development whilst being a senior point of contact for Rice's partners and clients.According to Madeira James will play a vital role in increasing revenues and extending the agency's footprint across the region.Prior to Lewis, Brasher worked with the Baldwin Boyle Group as a consultant. During his career, he has represented over 60 organisations including brands such as Audi, BlackBerry, Fonterra, Microsoft, Salesforce.com, Singapore Airlines, Sony and Visa."For organisations engaging an agency of any sort, often the most important factor in selection is the experience and aptitude of the team that will service their business. Rice has a really solid team of consultants with varied experience across corporate, technology, healthcare and consumer; this will serve us well as we grow," Brasher said.In addition to anchor client, Inmarsat, Rice has added a number of marquee clients to its roster. Some visible brands include Abbott, Bayer, Bosch, Cisco, eBay, GE Healthcare and others.In the digital media space, it supports organisations such as the Mobile Marketing Association, AdMob prior to the Google acquisition, e-Dialog which has since been acquired by eBay, InMobi, Buddy Media and others.
