Red Bull’s latest campaign asks if you can make it

Red Bull has launched its  ‘Can You Make It 2016’ campaign which is a competition featuring 165 student teams from more than 50 countries.

The teams will travel across Europe using nothing but Red Bull cans as their currency.

University students across Malaysia are encouraged to join the competition, which will witness teams traverse over 1,000 kilometers in European cities in a single week, to arrive at the final checkpoint – located in a secret location in Europe.

Teams are expected to trade cans of Red Bull in exchange for transportation, food and accommodation.

In April 2016, the 165 selected teams of students will depart from one of the five Starting Points in Europe – Barcelona, Florence, Berlin, Edinburgh or Prague. Each team will hand over their cash, cards and personal phones and have one week to make it to a chosen destination.

Score is based on the Checkpoint Challenges, Adventure List tasks and Social Following achieved. This means that competing teams will be making their way to each Checkpoint located all over European cities completing as many tasks as they can from their Adventure List and posting photos and videos to build the support of their followers.

Rebull is also creating an online contest urging interested teams of three to explain why their team should be chosen through a video submission.
