Fresh from its Agency of the Year awards haul, Razorfish has promoted Joanna Kalenska to managing director of its Hong Kong operation.
Kalenska has led the Hong Kong office for more than 18 months as general manager, but will now take on a wider role.
Last Friday the Razorfish Hong Kong team scooped up Best Use of Mobile, for its work on Nike Locker Room; Best Idea – Social, for Nike Own the Night and the Bronze award in Digital Agency of the Year category.
Erik Hermanson, senior vice president, business consulting for Razorfish Asia Pacific, said since joining the Hong Kong office Kalenska has delivered the best possible work for clients.
“Joanna has a strong international marketing and client services background and has been a huge asset to supporting and growing the MNC clients we support out of the Hong Kong office. She is well deserving of the recent promotion from GM to Managing Director, and I look forward to seeing Joanna’s continued success at Razorfish,” he said.
Kalenska reports to Vincent Digonnet, executive chairman Razorfish APAC.
