International media and advertising services company Publicitas has appointed Andy Vogel to the role of head of global digital product.
As Publicitas invests in its digital strategy on a global scale, Vogel will be responsible for introducing the company’s innovative digital advertising formats to Publicitas’ worldwide customers.
Vogel will be responsible for developing and implementing new digital marketing strategy and products. He will work across all global regions to ensure that Publicitas has the best-trained and equipped sales teams delivering digital marketing solutions that work for the company’s clients and media partners.
“With digital advertising surging and new digital formats emerging as key revenue drivers across the client landscape, it is vital that our team, our products and services continue to evolve to create and deliver new value to our clients,” Jörg Nürnberg, Global CEO of the company said.
“At Publicitas, Andy will be a key player in driving growth in the programmatic, mobile and video product areas, as well as helping the business become a “digital first” company.”
He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the development of marketing and revenue strategies for new and emerging businesses.
In the US, he has worked at the C-level for big brands, agencies and major media, such as ADP,cars.com, Gannett, the LA Times and Tribune. He has also been on the North American Board of the Mobile Marketing Association, the Board of the IAB’s Mobile Center of Excellence, and Google’s Publisher Advisory Board.
