Publicis launches luxury arm, appoints APAC creative lead

Publicis has appointed Sebastien Vacherot as chief creative officer of Publicis 133 in Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, Publicis 133 has also launched in Singapore, with Jae Soh’s appointment as general manager,to lead the team.Publicis 133 is its agency dedicated to premium and luxury brands.Vacherot will be based in Hong Kong and he will also take creative responsability for Publicis Hong-Kong. As co-CEO of Publicis 133 Paris, he has created global campaigns for famous Maisons such as Cartier, Yves Saint Laurent, Montblanc, Lancome.Vacherot worked as an art director from 1994 until 2000 at DDB. In 2000 Vacherot arrived at TBWA Paris where he developed work for the National Railway Company SNCF, Sony Playstation and Tag Heuer. Also in 2005 Vacherot took over the international creative management of Absolut Vodka, which he helped to modernise and collaborate with contemporary artists and musicians.In 2007 Vacherot created the TBWA Media Arts Paris agency as chief executive officer, with Absolut Vodka, BMW and MINI accounts. He was also co-chief executive officer and creative partner for MARCEL.Loris Nold, CEO of Publicis in APAC said “Sebastien joining us in Asia is truly exciting news.
