Prudential Assurance Malaysia names new CMO

Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) has appointed Khoo Ai Lin to the role of chief marketing officer (CMO).Khoo will lead a team of more than 40 people across various business areas including brand, product development, strategic marketing, channel engagement and customer marketing and analytics. She is responsible for driving market growth, developing new products and championing innovative methods to enhance PAMB’s brand value and engagement.Khoo has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and in her previous role as chief officer of Partnership Distribution and General Insurance, was responsible for building PAMB’s non-agency distribution channels in the market as well as managing its General Insurance business. She also played a central role in strengthening further the insurer’s solid relationships with its current bancassurance partners.Philip Seah, CEO of PAMB said, “Khoo is no stranger to the Prudential family. Her strong track record with us since 2010 includes her previous role as chief officer of partnership distribution and general insurance. Under her leadership, she has raised the bar for the Partnership Distribution portfolio where PAMB continues to grow from strength to strength."Khoo will continue to oversee Partnership Distribution and General Insurance until the appointment of her successor.Meanwhile, last month, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore has appointed Angela Hunter as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
