Are PR professionals in Singapore adequately paid? If they work in agencies, most feel they aren’t.In a recent study called “The Pulse”, which is an annual survey by recruiter VMA Group, most PR professionals in agencies said they were likely to feel they were underpaid. The study said that three in five felt they were inadequately compensated. Here’s how they responded to the question:Meanwhile, the study also tracked the average salaries for PR professionals in Singapore and Hong Kong, across various levels in both markets.In house:Agency:The 2015/16 Pulse report, now in its third year, is a qualitative and quantitative research study for communications professionals focused on Asia. The report includes industry insights, expert commentary and a case study providing valuable industry knowledge.The analysis was based on 518 completed returns from company individuals holding roles at head of department level or higher and having more than 11 years of marketing and corp comms experience.
