Kim’s role is dedicated to communications which help elevate the Expedia Group brand and team in APAC, and which recognises the value of travel to the world. She works across global and local corporate communications projects which include strategy development, issue management, media liaison and response, project management, research development, as well as supporting Corporate Development (M&A) and Public Policy/Government Relations teams. Kim co-Chairs the Expedia Group APAC Excellence Committee, a communications forum for PR leaders representing Expedia Group’s portfolio businesses/brands in the region.
Kim is a 2019 Honoree in the global ‘Top Women in PR 2019 Awards’, recognising her global leadership in communications.
Kim represents Expedia Group on the Asia Internet Coalition (AIC). Kim’s personal memberships include: Foreign Correspondents Association (Singapore), Australian Society of Travel Writers (Australia) and the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
Kim’s career includes in-house, agency and government communications roles. Prior to joining Expedia Group she worked for Wotif Group (ANZ), Travelocity (APAC) and Scenic Tours (ANZ). Kim has also lectured international public relations at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and held consultancy roles with Edelman, Weber Shandwick and other agencies across B2C, B2B and Government liaison comms. Kim has also held marcomms roles with Australian government departments in Tourism, Sport & Racing and Education portfolios.
