Independent PR agency, Sinclair has launched its operations in Singapore, marking the agency’s fourth market in the Asia Pacific region and its first foray in Southeast Asia. Sai Roshini Daswani (pictured right), who was the head of marketing and development, will now take on the new position of director, head of business development and lead the Singapore hub.
Sinclair, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, currently has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. The new hub in Singapore sees the agency extend its integrated PR, marketing, social and digital services to corporate, consumer, government and cultural clients in Southeast Asia.
Founder and CEO Kiri Sinclair (pictured left) said Singapore is a “natural” choice as it is “rich in talent and well-known for being home to amazing local and international brands”. She added: “The insights-driven approach to creativity and the seamlessly integrated service offering that Sinclair is known for will be extended, allowing our clients a full-service regional marketing communications solution.”
In a statement to Marketing, Sinclair said the agency has in-market experience across Southeast Asia, having worked with many Singaporean brands and clients based in the Singapore market, and led regional campaigns. It will be growing its Singapore team over the coming months and is currently on the lookout for individuals who are “creative storytellers and have a strong integrated communications mindset”.
The agency currently offers a collaborative approach focused on client partnerships that are aligned to drive business impact. Sinclair also believes that the company’s strong Greater China knowledge and network will be an advantage in helping Singapore brands enter new markets or reach new audiences.
Meanwhile, Daswani is tasked in her new role to build Sinclair’s business in Southeast Asia and lead strategy development for clients in the market. She joined Sinclair in 2012, leading corporate communications and integrated PR campaigns for corporate, consumer and luxury lifestyle brands across the region.
Having experienced the agency’s growth across industries and markets first-hand over the past seven years, Daswani said: “I bring my passion for and knowledge of our work with me as we grow into new markets to ensure that Sinclair maintains its position as one of APAC’s leading independent PR firms.”
