Porter Novelli names new MD of Singapore office

Head of communications at Groupon, Dan Benelisha has left the position after a little over a year to take on the role of senior vice president and managing director of Porter Novelli’s Singapore office. Benelisha confirmed the move to Marketing.At Groupon, Benelisha was taksed to look over its Tiger markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan) and emerging markets (India, Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines). He was reporting to Amy Glancey, head of APAC Comms, based in Australia. Groupon has confirmed the departure to Marketing and has not yet made a replacement.Prior to that, Benelisha (pictured) was with Waggener Edstrom Woldwide since 2011. He was the VP of technology at Waggener Edstrom. Before that, he was associate director at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
