Porsche looks to intensify life experiences with new campaign

Porsche has ties up with photographer Florian W. Muller for its latest campaign for car range The Macan. The Macan is the sports car of the compact SUV segment since its world premiere in 2013. With the recently rebranded Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, Porsche Asia Pacific is celebrating the near-infinite customisation options of the Porsche Macan.

Porsche sought to find an appropriate setting that embodies the motto of this Macan campaign, “Life Intensified”. Taipei, as a vibrant city with an electrifying soul, proved itself as the ideal location where Muller produced his edgy and striking images of the Macans.

Mueller said: “The ‘Life Intensified’ idea is encapsulated so very perfectly by the Macan, especially in these very unique colours. Just looking at the car makes you feel alive, and for me, this directed my photoshoot for the campaign. Taipei is also the perfect place to juxtapose this spirit, and I truly feel the photos reflect the individual character of the car, enabled through its near endless customisation options.”

The campaign will run across 13 markets namely Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Brunei, French Polynesia, Mongolia, New Caledonia and Sri Lanka. The photo competition runs from 3 Aug – 3 Sept on Instagram, and winners will be announced on 17 Sept. Images and videos from the Life Intensified campaign will also be shared on the Porsche Facebook page.

As part of the “Life Intensified” Campaign, Porsche has launched an Instagram contest where three lucky individuals will win a fully sponsored Photography Masterclass curated by Muller in Penang, Malaysia. To enter the contest, members of the public would simply need to take and post a photo or video that embodies their interpretation of “Life Intensified”. The photo or video must then be uploaded to Instagram with the hashtag #LifeIntensified.
