Hong Kong – Pizza Hut has expanded its relationship with Havas Worldwide Hong Kong, naming it to handle its digital communications.
The win further the two companies’ existing partnership, as Havas is the creative agency of record for Pizza Hut’s offline communications for its dine-in business.
The agency is tasked to establish a solid digital platform for engaging with customers and reinforcing its brand positioning, as well as managing Pizza Hut Hong Kong’s Facebook page and launching interactive initiatives via social media.
Richard Leong, marketing director of Pizza Hut Hong Kong, said the two companies have worked closely together last year to redefine Pizza Hut’s brand DNA and reposition is as a “social hub” where people can bond while dining together.
“With their in-depth understanding of the brand and business, we’re confident that Havas team will maxmise synergy throughout our communications and build a strong rapport with our customers.”
CC Tang, chairman of Havas Worldwide Hong Kong and chief creative officer of Havas Worldwide Greater China, added the expansion of the partnership into the digital arena is an opportunity for the agency to adopt a holistic approach to building the brand.
“The position of the brand is about inspiring social connections and digital communications via social media can play a key role in engaging increasingly sophisticated customers,” Tang said.
