Phoenix Petroleum Philippines has launched a new online video for Jr. NBA Asia, one of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) advocacy programs for young athletes with dreams of playing for the NBA.
Titled Biyaheng NBA, it was created by Havas Media Ortegaâ€™s Arena featuring the stories and intense basketball love of Jethro and MJ who participated in the Cebu leg of this yearâ€™s Jr. NBA/WNBA program, where Phoenix was a hosting entity.
â€śI think it’s refreshing for a fuel company to talk about something other than itself and its latest giveaways,” says Lawin Bulatao, Executive Creative Director at Arena.
“I’m thankful for this opportunity to share with everyone what fuel really does, which is to help us go places. This story tells us about how passion and persistence can prevail over poverty. And how working together can get us further than we ever thought possible.â€ť
The video has been released on Phoneix Petroleumâ€™s Facebook page and will also tap the social media assets of milk brand Alaska, another NBA partner. Supporting the video is the hastag #FuelTheDream and social media projects that include posting trivia regarding the basketball youth program.
