PHD Hong Kong has named Karen Thong, former head of internet strategies for CIMB Malaysia, as head of digital for PHD Hong Kong.
Thong’s key focus is to direct the strategic integration of digital into PHD’s core media planning while ensuring the growth of digital expertise and innovation within PHD Hong Kong. An 18-year specialist in media and digital marketing, her career spans industries from telecommunication to FMCG, automotive, travel & airlines, retail and financial & banking.
Thong’s experience on the brand side has helped her learn more about marketing specialising in e-commerce marketing and digital banking. Not a stranger to the network, Karen has worked with OMD Malaysia earlier in her career.
