Aileen Ho, marketing director at Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA), which owns Tempo, has confirmed that PHD as Tempo Hong Kong’s new media buying agency.
The Tempo account will be led by PHD Hong Kong GM Clement Chung and his team.
The incumbent agency is ZenithOptimedia Hong Kong. This comes after ZenithOptimedia Hong Kong MD Florence Wong left the agency to join New Media Group.
Last year, Tempo unveiled a major marketing campaign with TV, Facebook, mobile and OOH components. According to Ho, the tissue brand has approximately 70% of the paper handkerchiefs market in Hong Kong.
