PHD Australia appoints director of content

Australia - Planning-led media agency PHD Australia has appointed Angela Rapley (pictured) as director of content, a newly created position.Rapley will be responsible for the development of PHD‟s content offering and will report to Chris Stephenson, the national head of strategy.Prior her current position, she was Mediacom’s head of content APAC working across 14 markets, a portfolio of clients including Procter &Gamble, Shell, Dell, Audi and Coca Cola.Rapley has also worked in both the production/creative and agency/brand fields.“Having recently arrived in Australia, I’m really excited to be joining an agency like PHD, whose creativity and vibe are really contagious. They have a unique way of thinking and an approach that’s really interesting and I look forward to working alongside the teams to develop great work that truly delivers for our clients, both from a creative standpoint and one which is reflected in their business results,” Rapley added.“It’s awesome to have Angela on board at PHD. Her extensive experience in content development and production brings a new and exciting development to our specialist offering as we continue to find better ways for our clients,” Chris Stephenson said.
