PHD appoints Lars Bjørge as Greater China digital head

PHD China has promoted Lars Bjørge as its chief digital officer of Greater China. In his new role, Bjørge will oversee the digital business across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China.

Bjørge joined the company in 2011 as digital strategy director. Under his leadership, PHD has grown its digital business in China significantly. He has also helped develop specialised digital services in areas such as content, search, programmatic, social, mobile and measurement and analytics.

Bjørge has many years of marketing experience in Norway and China. Prior to PHD, he has held a number of senior positions at Omnicom’s Proximity BBDO and Tribal DDB in Norway and OgilvyOne Shanghai.

Aaron Wild, CEO of PHD China, said Bjørge has helped build and develop a world-class digital offering that has established PHD as a market leader in digital innovation in China.

Doug Pearce, CEO of Omnicom Media Group Greater China, added the agency was pushing for more engaged, innovative and insightful digital solutions and services for clients across Greater China.
