Pfizer Malaysia, together with Malaysian Official Designerâ€™s Association (MODA) launched a KidStrong campaign to grow awareness and education on pneumococcal disease.
The six month long campaign aims to increase awareness among the public that children from the day they are born can be protected from pneumococcal disease. Throughout these six months there will be a series of initiatives with healthcare providers who, as part of the campaign, will help build awareness and bring education to the Malaysian communities.
The target audiences for the campaign are pregnant mothers and parents and children. The creative agency for this campaign is Alpha 245 which was responsible for handling through the line communication for the campaign and creating the activation concept. The campaign is also supported through public relations engagement by essence Burson-Marsteller.
The KidStrong campaign features a superhero theme which highlights the importance of protection for children to continue to be strong and healthy. In addition to the collaboration with young professional designers to design the cape, the brand also encouraged Healthcare practitioners, students and the public to design a cape through pledge forms. The pledge forms are distributed through the â€˜Design A Cape, Protect a Kidâ€™ road tour which takes place around Klang valley.
Meanwhile, Pfizer also pledges to donate RM5 for each of the design received to the underprivileged homes around Klang Valley.
