People’s Association appoints social media agency for PMET network

The People’s Association (PA) has handed Tinkle International social media management duties. This includes the marketing and maintenance of its Facebook page for its PMET network Facebook page, its life skills and lifestyle division.A tender for the account was first called in April and saw two other agencies, namely MJW Technologies and WS Group, vying for the account.According to Gebiz, the appointed agency will also handle the design and publication of publicity materials, with optional items such as EDM blasts and management along with tracking, measuring and refining of social media activities.Last year, PA appointed GroupM’s Vocanic to handle its social media duties, making it the latter’s first public sector client. This was for a contracted period of 1 July 2016 to 31 March 2017. The agency led pivotal social media campaigns for the organisation surrounding the themes of social cohesion and racial harmony. This was done jointly with GroupM and its Central Media Services division.
