Outbrain has appointed Andrew Burke (pictured middle) as managing director of APAC, and promoted Ayal Steiner (pictured left) to vice president, international revenue.
With the recent expansion of Outbrain into several new markets in Southeast Asia, Burke will lead the brand’s operations in the region and be responsible for driving the company’s relationship with publishers, agencies and brands. Prior to his appointment, Burke worked at Sensis as GM Digital for Yellow Pages and Found. He also took on more than 12-years in leadership roles including stints as general manager for Racing.com and CEO of Next Digital, the press statement read.
Meanwhile, Steiner will continue to report to Eytan Galai (pictured right), managing director, International. In his new role, Steiner will be responsible for driving the revenue and distribution growth in Asia, Europe, EEMEA, and South America. Prior his promotion, Steiner led the launch of Outbrain in Australia and New Zealand in 2012. Since then, he has led the brand’s expansion and business growth in APAC.
Galai said that these moves will help Outbrain build additional growth, while ensuring tighter collaboration across its regional offices. “I am thrilled to have Burke on board and Steiner stepping up into the new role to lead the charge in securing continued growth,” Galai added.
