OPPO names VP of global marketing to drive ‘One Market, One OPPO’ vision

OPPO has named Brian Shen (pictured right) VP and president of global marketing. Meanwhile, it has promoted Alen Wu (pictured left) to take on the role as vice president and president of global sales. This comes as OPPO aims to establish global sales and global marketing business units to drive the company’s integrated development in global markets and provide consumers around the world with quality smart products and services in the era of intelligent connectivity.

Shen was previously vice president and president of Mainland China and spearheaded a wide range of innovative marketing campaigns, including several worldwide brand collaborations. Meanwhile Wu was vice president and president of international business. Both Wu and Shen will report to OPPO CEO Tony Chen.

According to the company, the appointments come as OPPO looks to run its business with a global vision of ‘One Market, One OPPO’. As such it considers global markets as one market in which it now aims to focus on with worldwide resource integration for development globally, explained CEO Tony Chen. “Both Alen and Brian are outstanding managers and leaders who have made significant contributions to OPPO. I am confident that they will lead our global team to continuously drive more breakthrough innovation” he added.
