One year after its Asia launch, Barron’s expands team

A year after expanding to Asia, Dow Jones has expanded the team for Barron’s Asia, with appointment of new executive editor William Pesek.

Barron’s Asia, the first overseas digital edition for the publication, launched in October 2014 targeting high-net-worth readers in Asia.

“It has been a terrific inaugural year for Barron’s Asia, which has gained strong and growing recognition as a key destination for actionable investment ideas, analysis and insight into daily developments important to investors focused on Asia,” Ed Finn, editor and president of Barron’s, said.

Pesek will deliver a daily column that will focus on macroeconomics, policy, politics and markets in Asia, providing complementary coverage to its signature stock picks, investment articles and existing columns.

Based in Tokyo, he brings more than twenty years of economics, business and political reporting experience in the US and Asia.
