Omnicom Media Group Malaysia has appointed Haris Ismail (pictured) as head of Fuse, its branded content, sponsorship and ideation unit that services clients within the network and its brands, OMD and PHD.
Fuse specialises in strategy and building brand assets in owned and earned platforms and integrating these with paid media. In his new role, Ismail will be responsible for embedding the value-proposition of Fuse within OMD and PHD as well as strengthening the product through local initiatives.
Ismail joins Omnicom Media Group Malaysia from GroupM Malaysia where he was the country head for content. A media and marketing communications specialist with over 18 years of experience in advertising, broadcast and media, Ismail is a storyteller at heart with a focus on creating and sharing stories to impact a brand’s performance and results.

Ismail reports to Vogiatzakis and his position is effective immediately.
