Omnicom Media Group has handed more duties to Lee Smith, appointing him as Asia Pacific president for Annalect, Omnicom Media Group’s data-driven marketing division.
Smith will add the leadership of Annalect Asia in addition to his current role as digital platforms lead for Omnicom Media Group in the region.
Annalect Group includes Accuen, the group’s real-time bidding solution led by Matt Harty, which was launched in APAC in late 2011 under Smith as well as the search agency Resolution.
According to Barry Cupples, CEO for Omnicom Media Group Asia Pacific, Lee’s extensive experience in the area of data and analytics makes him a natural choice for the Annalect leadership role.
