Selina Teng, currently co-managing director of Ogilvy Public Relations Beijing, has been promoted as president of Ogilvy & Mather Group Beijing.
In her new role, Teng will oversee the day-to-day business of the O&M Group in Beijing with all Beijing units reporting to her. She will also join O&M China’s Executive Committee.
A native of Beijing, Teng joined Ogilvy Public Relationsin 1999 and has been with O&M ever since.
Over the years, she has established and managed a strong technology and automotive practice for O&M. She also led several of O&M’s largest clients in China.
Commenting on the changes, Chris Reitermann, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather China, said: “Developing local talent is our top priority in China, and I could not be more delighted to announce Selina’s promotion today, as she is our very first home-grown office head.
