O&M China promotes Frangelica Liang as Guangzhou MD

Ogilvy & Mather China has appointed Frangelica Liang, currently Ogilvy Public Relations vice president, as managing director of its Guangzhou office with immediate effect.Liang will oversee all operations of Ogilvy & Mather, Ogilvy PR and Neo@Ogilvy in Guangzhou to further strengthen the business integration in the southern market.Liang joined the group in 2007, boosting more than 20 years of experience across several areas including branding, CRM, communications and promotions, new product development as well as retail marketing.Commenting on the appointment of Liang, Chris Reitermann, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather China, said: “Originated from Guangzhou, Frangelica has brought intensive MNC experience, market insights and integrated marketing experience to our group in the past nine years, leading O&M to make steady progress and achieve remarkable results.”“As a home-grown office head, her strong leadership and deep understanding to the local market make her the best person to this crucial position in the southern market.
