Paul Heath, worldwide executive director, chief growth officer and chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific, has resigned from Ogilvy to begin the next chapter of his life.
The agency confirmed his resignation and said his family would be returning to Brazil where he is starting up a new streaming technology venture.
“Paul is a man of the Ogilvy world and we wish him nothing, but success in his new endeavours,” a spokesperson said.
According to a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, Heath announced his resignation as an executive of Ogilvy Worldwide from April and will also step down from the WPP AUNZ board.
In 2016, during Ogilvy’s Asia Pacific leadership rejig, Heath took up a new role as worldwide executive director and chief growth officer where he led and managed a worldwide growth plan for securing new clients and managing a portfolio of clients across the globe. His family moved to New York for that role.
He first joined Ogilvy as a graduate trainee in London in 1987 and left in 1990. He returned to the network in 2003.
