OCBC Bank has appointed Govt as its creative agency for a year, Marketing can confirm.
The account saw a mix of agencies from local and international firms vying for the account. The shortlist agencies included local players such as The Secret Little Agency and Ogilvy & Mather.
Koh Ching Ching, head of Group Corporate Communications, OCBC Bank said: “During the pitch process, we met a number of network and independent agencies, all of whom presented strong and thought-provoking ideas in their proposals. We are happy to see the high level of creative talent within the industry in Singapore. We look forward to working with Govt to develop new creative solutions to engage our customers.”
Kelvin Wong, VP group corporate communications, OCBC Bank earlier said with the proliferation of new marketing trends and developments in recent years, OCBC felt it would be timely to call for a creative agency pitch to explore new ideas that can further elevate OCBC’s brand presence.
“We invited a mix of network agencies and local independent agencies earlier this month to participate in this pitch and are in the process of evaluating them. In our search for a new creative agency, we are looking for one that understands our brand values and objectives, helping us further strengthen the OCBC brand,” Wong said.
