The New Straits Times Press Malaysia (NSTP) has partnered with iPrice to provide exclusive promotions and coupons for online shoppers. The voucher portal, launched this month, will list down high-value online voucher and coupon offers from 60 e-commerce businesses in Malaysia and worldwide.
Deals will be updated daily and profit garnered from the vouchers page will be shared by both parties at an undisclosed value. IPrice’s spokesperson declined to comment on A+M‘s queries on the exclusivity of this partnership.
According to Azizi Othman, digital business and development general manager, NSTP, the initiative was launched to fulfil the company’s commitment in offering a diversity of digital products and services with add-on values for its customers. Apart from having an “excellent reputation” in the region, iPrice has the capability of providing a platform to compare prices of over 250 million products, making it convenient for customers to select the best option before making a purchase, he said.
“We believe that the collaboration will further strengthen the e-commerce ecosystem and improve the Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) through NST’s participation in the industry,” he added.
Matteo Sutto, marketing chief officer, iPrice Group said the company is honoured to work with NST to provide a global shopping platform. He added the rapid internet economic growth had seen an increase in e-commerce businesses, and the company had an opportunity to offer more choices to online customers by merging all the existing options.
“We believe that this teamwork will give even a bigger impact to millions of customers consistently,” he added.
