Amanda brings over 10 years’ experience in investment and consumer communications to her role as JIA Group’s Director of Public Relations & Marketing. Her career began while juggling university and full time employment for the multinational mass media corporation, News Corporation in newsroom editorial. After graduating, she worked in property investment, establishing the James Street Initiative – a unique model, now internationally praised. She later chose to hone in on her love of both food and travel, moving to France to cover the European food scene for many Australian publications while developing “Pepper Passport” – a platform with a global network of contributors. She then returned to Australia in 2013 to grow the platform and eventually sold its engaged database to a national digital company after two years of development. She moved to Hong Kong in 2015 with DFS, the LVMH owned retailer, before joining Black Sheep Restaurants and later JIA Group where she is armed with increasing both brand awareness and revenue for the 10+ brands within the company portfolio.
