Nielsen executive director Benjamin Ting heads to CtrlShift

CtrlShift has appointed Benjamin Ting (pictured) as the head of revenue, AMP, with immediate effect. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Ting will report directly to Dominic Powers, CEO of CtrlShift. In his new role, Ting is tasked with driving growth for AMP, an automated programmatic marketplace offering audience-enriched inventory through private deals.Prior to his appointment, Ting was the executive director for Nielsen Malaysia. As a long-time industry veteran, he brings over 20 years of experience in media sales and research, with stints at Media Prima, Fox International Channels and MTV Networks.According to Powers, Ting brings a keen eye to the industry undergoing continued disruption and evolution with his "depth and breadth of experience".“We’re delighted to welcome Ting on board. We look forward to him leading the charge in providing brands access to brand-safe inventory and engaged audiences,” Powers added.Since it’s launch by CtrlShift in August 2017, AMP has enjoyed positive traction in Malaysia, fulfilling brand demand for a curated pool of high quality inventory from leading publishers with the benefit of targeting nuanced audience profiles.Publishers currently on board with AMP include Media Prima Digital, Star Media Group, Rev Asia, Malay Mail Online, and Sin Chew Online, amongst others.
