Burda Singapore has added a new magazine to its stable.
The publisher of August Man has launched a female edition, August Woman, targeting advertisers such as jewellery, watch, fashion and beauty brands as well as property developers, banks and more.
The magazine is different from other women’s magazines in that it will not only focus on fashion and lifestyle but offer business related content such as investment advice, said a spokesperson for Burda Singapore.
It will kick off with a circulation of approximately 20,000 and the magazine will sell at SG$6.90 at most major bookstores and news stands. The title has plans to get audited but the spokesperson said it’s too early to put a date to it.
The magazine will launch its first copy in late August, and the next one in December.
Subsequently, in 2013, it will be a monthly magazine.
Burda Singapore has also appointed an editor for the magazine, Ci’en Xu.
