New Media Group and JCDecaux Transport raced to the finish line and took out the coveted titles ‘Media Owner of the Year’ and ‘Media Brand of the Year’ at the Spark Awards 2016 in Hong Kong.
The media company made it over the line with a higher average score taking home seven Gold, four Silver and six Bronze across content, video, social media, mobile, and more.
For the third consecutive year NMG has been crowned the Media Owner of the Year. In Hong Kong’s wildly competitive media industry, this is no easy feat.
Among the winning divisions under the group are Weekend Weekly, New Monday, SundayMore and Sizz.
This year, vying for the top metal were more than 25 media owners and over 90 media products.

Another overall winner for the evening included Media Brand of the year’s winner MTR advertising, JCDecaux Transport.
The brand snagged four Gold for Best Outdoor Innovation, Most Innovative Technology, Best Media Campaign – Experiential and Best Media Campaign – Out-Of-Home.
It also bagged one Silver in Best Media Campaign – Out-Of-Home, and two Bronze in Best Outdoor Innovation Best Media Campaign – Experiential.
JCDecaux Transport clinched these accolades for various campaigns with its clients such as ECCO, HKTVmall and PANDORA.
