Singapore e-payments provider NETS ((Network for Electronic Transfers) is currently in the midst of a media pitch.
According to sources, currently vying for the account are incumbent agency The Media Shop, OMD and Havas Media. The Media Shop has been working with NETS since 2011. Marketing understands it is a closed door pitch.
The company is also in the midst of a social media pitch. Previously, NETS worked with social and mobile agency KRDS Singapore as its social media agency for the year following a multi-agency pitch. KRDS Singapore was handling NETS’ Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Last year, NETS officially appointed M&C Saatchi as its agency of record where M&C Saatchi’s remit covered all NETS communications from corporate and product, to promotions, activation and B2B.
Founded in 1985 to help build a debit network and transform the payments industry in Singapore, NETS is the one of the most widely used e-payment options in Singapore with one in three people making use of its products and services daily.
Over the years, NETS has introduced a range of e-payment solutions including NETS Debit, CashCard, eNETS and NETS FlashPay.
