Netflix has appointed Dipashree Das as partner marketing for Southeast Asia and India. Das joins after a three-year stint at Singtel, where she was last team lead, regional channel partnerships, trade marketing and sales strategy.
According to her LinkedIn, Das first joined Singtel in 2013 as senior content marketing manager, group digital life. She developed and executed the multi-channel regional launch campaign for Singtel’s Big Data brand DataSpark.
She was then promoted to senior marketing manager of regional advertising where she led the creation of integrated, cross-platform and content- led advertising solutions to marketers in the APAC region. Her role also involved employ Singtel’s suite of products and services to craft effective and tailored solutions for marketers and consumers. She also drove and grew new business with existing and new advertisers by fostering long-term relationships with c-level decision makers.
Prior to her tenure at Singtel, Das was head of 360 digital strategy and content team at Channel NewsAsia, where she led strategy and content creation for digital and social media platforms to take TV content into the digital space.
She played a hand in conceptualising and developing digital assets for the channel across key social platforms to target the young. She also developed digital marketing campaigns which were multi-platform in nature, this included online videos, TV trailers, Facebook posts and Twitter feeds, to reach new viewers on online and social platforms across 26 countries in Asia.
