NBCUniversal International has made two key senior sales appointments in its Asia Pacific television business.
It appointed Ling Sze Gan (pictured) as VP, affiliate sales and branded digital partnerships, for NBCUniversal International Networks in Asia. Gan joins from Sony Pictures Television Networks Asia, where she was VP, affiliate sales and media partnerships.
Gan’s career spans over 19 years in the media industry, holding senior programming and acquisitions roles at BBC Worldwide, Discovery and AETN International.
Gan will report directly to Christine Fellowes, managing director, NBCUniversal International Networks, Asia.
Also joining the television team is Paul Valentin, who relocated from London to Singapore for the newly created role of VP, sales strategy and development, Asia Pacific.
Valentin will report directly to Jay McNamara, EVP, strategy development and analysis.
Valentin has spent ten years at NBCUniversal International’s headquarters in London, where he was most recently director, strategy and analysis, following on from the position of director of distribution, CNBC, prior to that.
“ Both of these talented executives are key additions to the team and will be instrumental in driving the on-going growth of our business across the region,” Justin Che, NBCUniversal’s managing director, distribution and networks, Asia Pacific said.
