National Australia Bank appoints new marketing head for int'l branches

National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed Michelle Toy as head of marketing and corporate affairs. She is based in the Hong Kong office and has commenced her role on 15 August.Toy will oversee the marketing and corporate affairs team based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Australia, with overall responsibility of the NAB International branches in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, India, UK, US as well as representative offices in Vietnam and Indonesia.She has more than 10 years marketing experience in the banking industry and has worked with BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Nomura Securities and State Street.Following the recent organisational structure announcement, NAB’s International Branches now reside under the corporate and institutional banking business unit which includes fixed income, currencies & commodities, capital financing and asset servicing.NAB's statement noted: "Her role will bring strategic marketing expertise and greater momentum to NAB’s goal of creating a simpler, more customer-focused organisation for institutional and corporate clients."
